Last updated: April 2026. These Terms govern use of the HY4U institutional website and contact flows. Lodging bookings may be completed in an environment operated by a technology partner (booking engine); in those cases, the terms and policies shown there at the time of booking also apply.
1. Acceptance and definitions
By accessing or using the site, you state that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, stop using the site immediately.
“HY4U” or “we”: the company responsible for the brand, property curation, institutional communication and, where applicable, intermediation with operational partners. “User”: anyone who accesses the site. “Guest”: a person seeking or booking lodging. “Owner”: the holder or representative of a property subject to management or promotion. “Services”: information, forms, booking links, marketing content and other features made available on the site.
2. Purpose of the site and services
The site is informational and supports the HY4U experience: presenting properties, contact channels, availability search when offered, and redirection to the booking engine to complete lodging agreements with condominiums or authorised operators.
Availability of flats, final prices, fees, cancellation rules and binding contractual documents are those shown in the booking flow at the time of contracting, and may vary by season, property and the booking partner’s policies.
3. Eligibility and acceptable use
Use of the site is permitted for people aged 18+ or minors duly accompanied, as applicable law requires. It is forbidden to: (i) break the law or third-party rights; (ii) send unlawful, offensive or discriminatory content; (iii) attempt unauthorised access to restricted areas, third-party accounts or systems; (iv) spread malware, spam or abusive scraping; (v) use the site in a way that harms infrastructure, security or availability.
HY4U may suspend or block access if fraud, abuse or violation of these Terms is suspected, without prejudice to legal remedies.
4. Forms, communications and accuracy
When you submit data via contact or similar forms, you declare that the information is true and up to date. Replies will be sent through channels indicated by HY4U during business hours or according to internal support policies, with no guarantee of an immediate response.
5. Bookings, payments and contractual relationship
When you are sent to the booking engine (for example, Stays or another indicated on the site), the lodging agreement is between you and the party identified as counterparty in that flow (property operator, manager or similar), under the terms shown at checkout. HY4U may act as curator, promoter or technology facilitator, without replacing obligations under the main lodging contract, unless expressly stated in a separate agreement.
Payment policies (card, instalments, prepayment), deposits, penalties, no-shows and booking changes follow what is published in the booking engine and in each property’s rules.
6. Content, images and intellectual property
Texts, photos, logos, layout, videos and other site elements are protected by HY4U’s or licensors’ intellectual property rights. Commercial reproduction without prior written authorisation is prohibited, except as allowed by law (brief quotation with source).
Third-party marks (properties, OTAs, partners) belong to their owners and appear for identification only.
7. Third-party links
The site may link to social networks, maps, the booking engine and other sites. HY4U does not control those environments; you access them at your own risk and should read each service’s terms and policies.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site and materials are provided “as is”, to the fullest extent permitted by law. HY4U will strive to keep information updated but does not guarantee complete absence of typos, temporary unavailability or differences between institutional content and final conditions shown in the booking engine.
In no event shall HY4U’s liability for indirect damages, lost profits or data loss arising solely from informational use of the site exceed, where permitted, the amount you may have paid to HY4U in direct connection with the triggering event in the preceding twelve months — or shall be excluded to the extent the law allows limitations.
9. Privacy and cookies
Processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. The cookie banner allows consent choices where applicable to optional technologies.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised. Continued use of the site after materially relevant changes constitutes acknowledgement; for substantial changes, we recommend reviewing this page periodically.
11. Applicable law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of Recife, State of Pernambuco, are elected, except where consumer law or mandatory rules provide otherwise.
